Chapter: 15

The General Horrorspital
January, 26, 2013
New Mexico General Hospital
25:00
It was time. A assassin for the Officer’s Army had made his way into New Mexico General Hospital. The operation would be swift. Make it look like a freak accident, don’t make it obvious. Those instructions had been given to him by the Officer himself. The assassin leaned around the corner and aimed his gun. It had been modified to knock-out, so the guards would look like they feel asleep. The guards where easy. The assassin moved into place and went into the ward. He went over to Ian’s bed. He was on life support, shut down the life support, it will look like a malfunction. “Is there something wrong doctor?” someone asked form the doorway. The assassin turned around to see a man. “No, no! I’m just checking the life support. I do need of his medication, can you go get it?” the assassin asked, a perfect actor. “Yes, I have some right here.” the man said, putting his hand in his pocket. The man drew a silenced pistol and shot the assassin.

Ian woke up. He looked a around, he saw Aaron out to the corner of the room. “Is there something wrong?” Ian asked him sleepily. “Oh no, nothing just someone tried to kill you.” Aaron replied. “Oh, ok.” Ian replied and laid back down and closed his eyes. 2 seconds later Ian sat straight up and screamed “WHAT?!” to Aaron.
That woke the others up. “Just what I told you, someone tried to kill you.” Aaron said calmly. Ian noted the silenced pistol in his hand. “Good work Aaron!” Hanke said. “What? Is he an agent or something.” Ian asked. “Yes, I assigned agents to hospitals all around the area of Novway Kane’s house.” “I take that as a insult!” Ian said savagely to Hanke. “It was only a precaution, and it paid off!” Hanke retorted. “Ok, ok fine!” Ian said. “Now rest up! We want you to recover quickly!” Aaron said acting as a doctor would. Ian shoot him a glare and laid back down. Ian heard Aaron move the body of the assassin out of the ward, what Aaron did then, Ian didn’t know. Ian didn’t get any sleep that night.
